While my sister was here, we took her up to Snowbird to see the mountains up close because she kept saying that they looked like a movie backdrop and not real...of course we had to prove her wrong! The trip up Cottonwood Canyon was gorgeous as always and she was impressed with the scenery (but not Jeff's driving up the canyon, which scared her to death). When we got to Snowbird, we parked and got out to walk around because the resort was having a festival. We walked around for a while and scored some super cheap tickets for the tram ride up to the top of the mountain (only $5.00). Kate was up for the adventure, so we headed to the tram.
The ride up was amazing and I got some really great pictures of the trip.
At the top it was so cold and the winds were whipping at about 45 miles an hour! I was regretting not bringing a jacket...Kate was smart and had a hoodie of mine with her (I almost wrestled it away from her).
After that, we just walked around and took a ton of pictures...here are some of my favorites.
The views were just astonishing...but we were really glad they had a "warming hut" at the top to grab a little warmth before we headed back down.

Overall, it was a great way to spend an afternoon...we had never gone up the tram before and were really glad that we got to share the experience with Kate. Love you, little sis!
