Although lots has been going on in the life of the McNaughton's, I have just been too busy to blog lately. Every time I think I am going to get a couple of seconds to sit down and start to organize my thoughts, another crisis or catastrophe occurs. Notable occurrences of the past couple of months, which I promise to start blogging on soon so that all the details can be filled in...some were great and some were crappy, but all add to our family story:
- At the end of March, Jeff and I spent 10 days in Europe and traveled to Amsterdam, Germany, Paris, and Belgium. It was an amazing experience and one I would suggest for anyone. However, we took over 1,000 pictures while we were away, so it will take some time to crop and rename them before they can go on the blog. I promise I am working on it.
- We lost our sweet angel Kira; absolutely one of the most heart wrenching decisions Jeff and I have ever had to make. I still grieve daily for her.
- We spent a weekend in Gatlinburg with Jeff's parents who rented a cabin there. It was nice to have a mini-vacation so close to home (only about a 5 and a half hour drive from Durham)
- Jeff is studying hard for the Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) exam. It is a really difficult test and he has been taking a study course weekly for the past month. The exam is on June 2, so only a couple of weeks to go.
