Family Hike

Since our winter has been so warm this year, there have been tons of opportunities for good hiking.  A few weekends ago on a particularly nice Saturday, we decided to venture out and take the dogs on a hike.  We decided to go back to West Point on the Eno River, but to take another trail this time, the Laurel Cliffs Nature Trail.

It was a beautiful hike; the air was a little crisp, but the views were amazing...

We crossed a bridge that looked like it used to be an old railroad track...

Kira trail blazing like usual (diabetes isn't going to stop this little girl)...

A good picture of me and my babies...can you tell they were happy?

...and they were good for another picture with Jeff...

Finally, Jeff captured a decent one of me hiking...yay!

We are so excited that where we moved to is so close to West Point on the Eno River...it is literally right down the road.  I can see lots more hikes there in our future.
