Christmas 2011 went off without a hitch! Since it was the first time we had been in Florida with family in five years, it was of course chaotic and busy, but it was still fun. We started out at Joe and Julie's house in the morning, to watch the kids open gifts and enjoy some breakfast. It was amazing to me how quickly three kids can totally devour a ton of presents under the tree in no time flat...what a great talent to have!
We then headed over to my mom's house to open gifts with my family. I didn't get any pictures, but we did have a blast! I think the dogs made out the best...they got so many toys and treats, we had to send a whole box back to North Carolina just for them! How's that for spoiled?
Next, it was back to Jeff's parents house for a combined family dinner. It is so nice to be able to have both families together for the holidays. We do enough running back and forth...I am so glad that we don't have to eat two different Christmas dinners (my waist line can't handle that). And, of course, we had another round of opening presents...
It was a crazy, albeit fun day. It was nice to spend the holidays back in Florida. Even though it is way late, we hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
